Hey Hey

Following on from the huge success of our first Hillsong Kids BIG Curriculum Tell The World, we would like to present Hillsong Kids BIG Follow You, a 13 week learning experience that will take you and your children on a journey to be Devoted to Jesus… Devoted to Prayer, Devoted to His Word and Devoted to His House.

Building on from the foundations set by ‘Tell The World’ your children will learn just what it means to be a life long follower of Jesus Christ.

We started using "Follow You" last night and 2 kids gave their hearts to Jesus. We had a great, and very natural prayer time b/c we were taking about how prayer is greatest conversation you can have. Our kids LOVED the first week of Big. Great job guys! My leaders loved it too.

Cindy- Not sure how you plan to break it up, but it really does flow nicely when the lesson is used all together. The live teaching really compliments the video into teaching and "brings it home". You probably want your group of kids to get both parts- the Large group and small group at the same time, if possible. I think it could be broken up, but having large group and small group (kdg) back-to-back is pretty powerful.

I think that you should buy it not matter what. You won't be disappointed.

We are using Follow You right now and loving every minute! The main 3 principles that are broken down into bitesize pieces are: Devoted to Prayer, Devoted to His Word, Devoted to His House, all of which are hitting our kids (and leaders) right where they live at the foundational level, so rich and right on with our Church's vision.
Just get it!

In answer to Marcy Ribiero - Just a once a day limit, so you can re-tweet each day until comp closes on the 15th & each tweet will go in the draw.
THanks!

In Answer to the great question from Jen Galley -regarding our points/reward system. Here's the info -

There is no reward system included in the curriculum and any reward system your children's ministry uses will work in with Hillsong Kids BIG.

In Hillsong Kids weekend church services we use a simple points system across all age groups, services and campuses.
We use : White Points Stickers, Gold Points Stickers, Pod Leader Board & Prizes
Children are divided into three pods (Blue, Green, Red)
STEP ONE: WHITE STICKERS
Reward children for great behavior, bringing their bible, knowing the BIG WORD etc. with white stickers, children can place these stickers on their shirt, arms or face as they collect them throughout the service.
STEP TWO: GOLD STICKERS
Look out for two children only per service who are OUTSTANDING… These children will be rewarded for extraordinary behavior (eg. Being most well behaved, knowing the books of the bible, bringing lots of friends to church, winning a competition) with a Gold sticker.
STEP THREE: PRIZE TIME
Children with Gold sticker come on stage to receive a prize from your prize box (of chocolate/ lollies/toys) Each Pod then counts up how many white stickers they have received at that service, The Pod with the most white stickers receives a Star on their Pod Leader Board as that Pod are the winners for the day.

I hope this information is helpful for you.
if you have any more questions about our points sytem you can email us hillsongkids@hillsong.com

Great curriculum! I love curriculum that is developed by a local church. I think a lot of people forget that Hillsong is not a company--they are a local church. Admittedly, we have not done Follow You yet, though I've watched the whole thing with my kids. Personally, I think it's better and your kids will be impacted. I keep telling people that if they could produce it faster, it's all I would use (and I know they would if they could). That's how much I believe in it.
They do a phenomonal job with their videos and teaching, but I love how they just about perfectly balance it out with live teaching. Some of the newer stuff out there is really heavy on the video and/or make it complex to teach live. Hillsong BiG is a perfect fit for The Kids! Thanks guys!
