Score Keeper 2 Is My Best Friend

I recently had the honor of working with KidzTurn Labs (and by working, I mean emailing and nagging) in influencing the creation of some awesome score keeping software called Score Keeper 2.

If you keep score for teams (boys vs girls or Team 1,… Continue

100 Push Ups Illustration and Affirmation

I've taken on a goal recently to be able to do 100 push ups at one time within 6 weeks. I found it on http://hundredpushups.com

I just finished week 2 and they want you to do an 'exhaustion test' before moving on to wee three...

I did my test as an object lesson in front of 150+ kids this morning. Previously my max had been 15… and that what I told the kids.

I was teaching on Romans 5:3 where it says that the testing of our faith builds endurance… then… Continue

James- do you guys use Parent Pager? Dan and I would love to check out your system and procedures if you do! We are going to get it set up with the opening of our new building. We could set up a field trip!

Yep...Dan is the man! I asked GW3 if we could do more networking at future meetings. So I'm hoping to get to know the other CPs better. I went to a networking group at Pleasant Valley Baptist today and it was great! I got some great ideas. I'll be at your church this weekend for JBQ. Have a great day!

James,
It's Doug again...
I had one last question I just thought of.
You mentioned the 'jumps' you use in your children's church program.
I looked at a couple of the video jumps you had and they were so fast! I am not sure of the timing of a jump. Is it something that the kids already know about and when it shows up on the screen they immediately respond? Does it happen in about ten seconds then it's over? Sorry if I'm running too many questions at you, but I am hearing some great ideas and I'm just trying to get a handle on some of them.
thanks again,

James,
I also had a question about videos.
I think I had followed some links from your site and found some really cool kid videos. I think they were on Youtube. Are those available for download to use in church? Do they have a cost?
