Chris, just found this group or I would've commented sooner. I use the "What's Next" booklet every other month as a Sunday night discipleship class (our AWANA meets on Wed nights). We have had great success with it. I've tweaked it a little by addin…
yeah man, my wife and I are joined together on facebook. It's under "Kari Travis Cutshaw"
Good to hear from you man. How are things going in Canada? Lots of snow here.
Hey man. Glad things are going well. I don't think we've ever done day camps. We keep the kids Monday through Thursday night and they go home on Friday. A lot of teachable moments happen in that hour or two before putting the kids to bed. It's not easy sometimes, but always worth it. Anyway, keep in touch and let me know if I can help. If you're feeling the RFKC direction, check with me around November so I can give you some training dates for next summer. I think we'll be having a training site somewhere in New York.
P.s. awesome post on your site about the right of passage.
Hi Marty,
We have talked on the phone a couple of months ago. I just found out about this cmconnect.org. It seems to be good in connecting with other children's workers.
Do you know anything about the status of the District using us at the District Conference next summer? I haven't heard anything back yet.
Thanks,
Earl
We'll be at the Rocky Mount church of God (Pastor Travis Gore) I actually met pastor Gore in Roanoke a couple of years ago at a meeting at the COG state campground. We had an instant connection because of the Redskins :) and our ministry of course. It's funny how things work out sometimes.
I'm guessing Winterplace is where you took your kids. I've been living in Beckley for over 4 years now and I still haven't taken the time to get out there and snowboard. I'm hoping to make time for it this year.
Hey there! I clicked on your site to see if I knew you since your thumbnail pic was small then I notice that you were right across the mountain in Roanoke. We're over here in Beckley WV. We're actually going to be speaking in Rocky Mount in a few Sundays. anyway, I just thought it was cool to find a neighbor. keep up the good work out there.
hi marty! very cool that you have friends and family at heartland. it's an amazing place doing incredible things for god. hope all is well in your ministry!
