Brooke Lynne. said… - This past week with LaGrange Missions has been amazing. Since about January I've been feeling God pulling me toward doing some type of full-time ministry with kids and I have been wrestling with him because I've always wanted to be a teacher and I have really felt during LaGrange Missions him strengthening that call and I am unsure what to do. I'm praying he will reveal it to me in his timing. This past week was definitley a growing experience.

Jessica Dodd said… - Yeah, I am a missionary here. I love it here and I agree - the people are wonderful here. I just recently became a "career" missionary so I'm really excited to see what God is going to do in and through me here as I serve Him. Children's Ministry is different here...so I'm so happy that I found this site to be able to connect with other like-minded people. The children I minister to have been rescued from human trafficking and/or the sex trade...so they come in with a lot more "stuff" - but the testimonies from these kids would make a grown man weep! I love it!

- Hey Michael, just thought I'd stop by and see how your week is going. Hope everything is awesome! I am really excited for camp this year and can't wait to see whats in store. I'm going to be doing a local mission trip through a small church in my area this week and we are doing these things called backyard bible clubs that are like promos for VBS where we go into the community and host a 5 day morning get together from like 9-12 outside for kids ages 6-12 in peoples backyards and play games and do bible stories. Then in the afternoon we go and work on houses of elderly people in the community. Please pray that we will be able to be lights to these kids and be able to get to know them and let them share their stories because some of them are going to be coming from very broken homes. Also for the elderly people in the community that we can bring them hope and show them the love of Christ and help them live life a little easier. Thanks :] Hope to hear from you soon!
