I got an encouraging conversation from the P.E. teacher at my son's elementary school this week. I had been encouraging him to try out sport stacking with the kids at the school for over two years, and last week he took the plunge and did a whole we…
2009 Oregon State Sport Stacking Championships is Saturday next week (Nov. 21). So far, we have stackers from Oregon, Washington, California, and CANADA (Vancouver). Looks like we have every state/country on the West Coast except for Alaska.
Hey Natalia!
Thanks for the encouraging comments about my Legacy article! It is encouraging to know that I am on the same page as somebody else! I was also thinking of writing a book for leaders and parents here in America!
I would love to get a copy of your book some day when it comes out. Any chance you will be translating it in to English? I think you could help a lot of [parents here as well! (Plus, I could read it and understand it! haha!) Blessings to you and your ministry. I hope your book does very well!

Hi Natalia. so glad I could help with your question about parents. I'd be happy to stay in touch. You can email me at psronnie@bigpond.net.au
Bless you
I saw your question about training for worship leading. I do think that training in your instrument and "how to" lead worship is good, but to me the most important thing is having a heart of worship and having a heart to touch the kids. Practicing at playing and leading will help you to do a better job, but I've seen worship leaders that aren't that skilled do a great job because their heart is in the right place and that comes across.
That said, do practice your piano because the more comfortable you are playing, the easier it will be for you to focus on worship.
I'm familiar with Ben 10, though on the surface it looks fun. This is an idea question for the kidology forum where you will will have a chance to hear from a lot more children's ministry leaders. There are over 40,000 posts on Kidology in the forum alone - I'm sure you'll get some good input!
Hi Natalia. Thanks for the comment. Actually I am an intern for my childrens minister for the summer but God has really been working in my heart and I feel like he has called me to childrens ministry. I went on a mission trip about a week ago and worked with hispanic children. I feel like that is what God wants me to do. All I can do now is pray that he will show me where he wants me to go and do.
Crista, i'm glad about meeting you!
I am from Argentina! and I am children director in a church of 60 kids more or less. I have been doing this for 5 years.
Well, I hope you can invite friends to the group. Mine dont speak English thats why I cant invite them!

Keep in touch please!
